Verified Setups (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates verifiedsetups.ae, a platform for exploring, pricing and starting company setups in UAE free zones. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language because that is how we work.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the platform you may provide your name and email address; the details of the setup you are exploring (business activities, visa needs, shareholding, workspace preference, target market); consultation booking details, including any notes you write; and messages you send us through the site or WhatsApp.

If you decide to proceed with an application, we will ask you to upload the documents the relevant authority requires — for example passport copies or proof of address. You are always told what is needed and why before you upload anything.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we record technical information needed to run the service securely: your IP address (used for security and to prevent abuse of our systems) and basic usage analytics such as pages visited, the country a visit comes from, and the site that referred you. Our analytics are aggregate — they describe traffic, not individual browsing profiles.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the service you asked for: to show you real setup options and pricing, to hold your configuration so you can return to it, to verify your email address, to manage consultation bookings, and — if you proceed — to prepare and process your application with you. We also use it to respond when you contact us, to keep the platform secure, and to understand how the product is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.

When we share information

We share your information only in three situations. First, with the free zone authority or government body your application is directed to — and only when you have confirmed you want to proceed; nothing is ever submitted automatically. Second, with the service providers that run our infrastructure — hosting, database and email delivery — who process it solely on our behalf. Third, if the law requires it.

How we protect it

All traffic to and from the platform is encrypted (HTTPS). Your data is held in a managed database with restricted access, and uploaded documents are stored within that protected database rather than on exposed file storage, and in the backup copies described below. We keep regular backups so your application progress is not lost, and our systems rate-limit sensitive endpoints to resist abuse.

No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your documents with the seriousness they deserve — they are the kind of information we would want protected ourselves.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as it is needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations connected to your setup. If you ask us to delete your uploaded documents, we permanently remove the document files themselves; a basic record of your application may be retained where the law or the authority requires it.

Each night a full copy of our database, including uploaded documents, is emailed as an attached file to a single mailbox controlled by Verified Setups, through our email delivery provider. Nothing deletes these copies automatically. They stay in that mailbox until we delete them. Information you ask us to delete, including uploaded documents, may therefore remain in older backup copies until those copies are deleted. We use backup copies only to restore or move our own service, and they are handled only by us and the service providers described above.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, contact us at info@verifiedsetups.com or through WhatsApp via the button on our site. We will respond as quickly as we can.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in to your client area. It is necessary for the service to work and is not used to track you across other websites. Our visitor analytics are collected by our hosting platform at an aggregate level.

Children

Our services are for people starting businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be highlighted on the site.
